Sticky post - A post that perpetually appears as the first post in a blog.

You can setup how many post you want to show in home page of your blog. As you add new post on Blogger, older post are always move down. But if you want to show your favorite post always be there on your blog’s home page as a first post, there is no option given in your blog’s admin panel. In case of Forum, Forum Admin can set any post as sticky post.

Here I am going to reveal the trick of making your favorite post as a sticky post, which can be shown forever on your Blog’s Home Page. This way is useful when you want to advertise or promote something.

Creating a “sticky post” on Blogger is quick and simple, and you don’t have to be computer savvy to do it. Just follow below steps to do so:

  1. Log in to your blogger account.
  2. Click on Layout link from your Dashboard.
  3. Now you will be navigate to Page Elements >> Add and Arrange Page Elements.
  4. Select Add Gadget link of your left or right sidebar of blog’s layout.
  5. Select Text Gadget from the appeared popup.
  6. Enter Title and contents of your sticky post & save.
  7. The Title of your Sticky post will appear at right or left sidebar of your layout.
  8. Drag that box and place it above the “Blog Post”.

That’s All you have done. Now open the blog and you will see your Sticky Post will appear at the top of all your blog’s post.

This way you can create more than one sticky post. Sticky post do not have date exception, so to remove the sticky post simply “Remove Page Element” from the blog layout.
